THE SOCK FACTORY carries out these three processing phases in sequence: LINING PULLING : the sides of the upper are put under tension in order to make the upper adhere well to the last; SIDE LASTING : assembly of the sides of the upper on the insole by means of thermoplastic injection; SOCK LASTING : assembly, ironing, pre-shaping and chamfering of the heel (the part of the upper corresponding to the heel) and fixing by means of the application of a series of small nails.
